10 more taxis at Patna airport soon

PATNA: Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) would add at least 10 more vehicles to its existing fleet of taxis from Patna airport to different places in Bihar from Monday. BSTDC officials said the additional vehicles would include luxury, SUVs as well as hatchbag cars and the rates would be fixed according to the destination.

Airconditioned as well as non AC cars would be available round-the-clock at the airport so that flyers of night flights also get the service. Sources said the taxi fare would start around Rs200 and a person may have to pay over Rs1,000 for going to places like Maner or Hajipur from the airport.

BSTDC general manager Harendra Prasad said people could book the taxis from the BSTDC counter at the airport.
