The girls maintained that they were worried about their safety as some strangers had started knocking the hostel door in the night and brought their friends residing in a nearby hostel.

In the early hours of Wednesday, the girls rang up the police again expressing concern about their security. Police rushed there and shifted them along with their baggage to another hostel. The ACP the police would not compromise on the security of women and assured to provide adequate security to the girls.

Meanwhile, the hostel owner’s family claimed that some woman boarders of the hostel were trying to defame them after they were instructed to comply with the hostel rules.
