Bihar Governor meets 7 Indian High Commissioners and Ambassadors
1 min readPatna: Bihar governor Satya Pal Malik met Indian High Commissioners and Ambassadors to seven countries at Raj Bhawan here today.
Indian high commissioners and ambassadors, mainly natives of Bihar met Mr Malik to discuss ways for improving role of states in the formulation of the country`s foreign policy.
They visited various important places during their visit to the state and also planned to meet other dignitaries.
In his interaction with diplomats, the Governor said that the golden period of Indian history was in fact equated with the glorious history of Bihar`s Magadh empire.
He said, Bihar`s Vaishali was the first place where democracy had taken roots and was also land of the word`s first republic.
