Body of forest employee recovered in Jamui

Jamui: Police today recovered the body a forest employee at Kalam village under Lakshmipur police station area in the district.

Police said here that the body of forest department’s cattle guard Chandradeo Marandi alias Jetha Marandi was recovered in a forest near Kalam village on the receipt of information from local people.

Sources said that outlaws killed Mr Marandi by slitting open his throat.

The reason behind murder was not immediately known.

Police said that the body was sent to Jamui Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
