Father kills his one and half year old son in Supaul

Supaul: A person killed his one and half year old son by slitting open his throat and injured his wife at Ratauli village under Pipra police station area in the district today.

Police said here that one Ram Kumar Mandal slit open throat of his son Satyam with a sharp edged weapon and also made an abortive attempt to kill his wife Inku Devi (21) in the same manner after tying them with rope.

Sources said that Satyam was killed on the spot while the woman was critically injured.

After committing the crime, the accused along with his mother made good escape from the spot.

Police said that the woman had been admitted to Supaul Sadar Hospital.
