Huge consignment of foreign liquor seized in ‘dry’ Bihar Begusarai

Begusarai: Police seized huge consignment of foreign liquor from a truck at Khamar village under Mufassil police station area in the district today.

Police said here that 518 cartons of foreign liquor were seized from an abandoned truck at the village following specific intelligence input.
Sources said the seized consignment worth nearly Rs 10 lakh was manufactured in Haryana.

Police said, no peddler could be arrested from the spot.
Further investigation is on, sources added.
