Inter-state serial killer arrested from Chhapra

Chhapra: Police arrested an inter-state serial killer who was involved in more than 20 murder cases in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh at Birauta village under Baniapur police station area in Saran district last night.

Police Superintendent Harikishore Rai said here today that the dreaded criminal Raju Patel was arrested from near a temple at the village following a specific intelligence input.

A country made revolver, live cartridges and two mobile phones were recovered from his possession, Rai said.

The nabbed outlaw is a native of Balia district in Uttar Pradesh he informed.

The criminal was being thoroughly interrogated to nab other members of his gang he added.
