Journalists, non-journalists demonstrate in Bihar

Patna: As part of a nationwide agitation, newspaper and news agency employees in Bihar today held a dharna before the Bihar Congress office demanding notification of the recommendations of the wageboard for journalists and non-journalists. The journalists shouted slogans against the delay by the Union cabinet to notify the recommendations of the wageboards. Leaders of journalists and non-journalists submitted a memorandum to state Congress chief Chowdhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser requesting him to take up with the party leadership the demand for early notification of the recommendations of the wageboard.

Bihar Working Journalists Union President Kamlesh Kumar Singh, General Secretary Arun Kumar Singh and Patna PTI Employees Union leaders Vijay Prasad, Kundan Kumar, A K Tripathy and Abhijit Biswas participated in the demonstration.
