Police nab wanted gangster
1 min readPatna: Police on Wednesday evening arrested Chandan Sao alias Chotu alias Piyush, who they said was involved in several loots and also the incident earlier this month in which an army jawan was shot at in the state capital.
Chotu was nabbed from the Patna Junction area.
Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj said: “The arrest of Chotu is a big catch for Patna police as apart from the firing on the army jawan he was also planning to murder a trader of the Patna City area.”
The police on Thursday also rescued a six-year-old girl who was allegedly kidnapped by a youth. The father of the girl lodged a case in which he said that his daughter was kidnapped around 12noon. The cops, based on intelligence inputs and CCTV footage, arrested the alleged kidnapper, Budhan Paswan, who they said is mentally unstable.
