Three drowned in Nalanda

Rajgir: Three people including two boys drowned under separate police
station areas in Nalanda district today.

Police said here that one Kaushal drowned in a pond and his friend Sunny fell sick after he jumped into the pond to save the former from drowning at Pawa village under Deepnagar police station area.

Sources said that Kaushal slipped into the pond while playing with his friend.

Police said that Sunny had been rushed to a hospital in the state capital for better treatment.

Police said that similarly one Gariban Pandit met his watery grave in a pond at Makdumpur village under Hilsa police station area when he was washing his hand after easing himself.
