Two siblings electrocuted in Banka

Banka: Two siblings were killed when they came in contact with high voltage electric wire at Bela village under Belhar police station area in the district today.

Police said here that two siblings- Sukumari (19) and Ruvita Kumari (12) were killed on the spot when they came in contact with a dangling 11,000 volt electric wire.

Sources said that they were returning to their residence from a market when the mishap took place.
The bodies of deceased had been sent for autopsy.

Police said that villagers were anguished over the incident and a close vigil was being maintained on the situation.
