BPSSC recruitment 2018: BPSSC Bihar Police SI prelims written exam results declared on bpssc.bih.nic.in

NEW DELHI: Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) declared the results for the written test held for 1717 vacancies for the post of Police Sub-Inspector (daroga) in Bihar Police on Friday, reports said.
Out of 1717 vacancies, 675 were for lady constables.

The candidates who qualified the Lady Constables will now have to appear in the Main examination. The number of candidates shortlisted for the main examination is 20 times more than the number of vacancies.

The preliminary exams for the 1,717 posts were announced in October 2017, and online applications were accepted between October 24 and November 30, 2017.

Around 4.28 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam that was conducted on March 11, 2018.
