Madhur Bhandarkar’s Calendar Girls Shocks CBFC With A Bold Scene

Madhur Bhandarkar is all set to come up with a raunchy movie titled Calendar Girls, the first poster of which was revealed recently.

Bollywood had quite a number of sensuous films of late, but Bhandarkar’s next is so high up in sex quotient that it reportedly has a nude scene too.

Latest reports suggest that the movie Calendar Girls had a nude scene which however, has been chopped off by the Censor Board.

One leading entertainment site reported that makers of the film submitted the first trailer to Censor Board for approval and the CBFC was shocked to watch the trailer.

Apart from a lot of bold scenes, the trailer of Calendar Girls reportedly showed a nude woman also which made the Censor Board members rather shocked. The report quoted a CBFC source, expressing his shock as to how Madhur Bhandarkar could think that such a trailer could be passed without the nude scene being cut off.

Nevertheless, the nude scene was removed from the trailer of Calendar Girls and was later passed under U/A certificate.

The movie Calendar Girls is a story about five divas from the glamour world, featuring Akanksha Puri, Avani Modi, Kyra Dutt, Ruhi Singh and Satarupa Pyne. All these are fresh faces and the film is slated to release on August 7th.
