In the news for all the wrong reasons

Mahuaa TV, the only enfotainment channel in Bhojpuri as it claims to be, is nowadays in the news for all the wrong reasons.

It is said to be that Mahuaa TV does not honor its commitments. Shatrughna Sinha who hosted ‘Ke Bani Karodpati’ on Mahuaa TV has not got his full payment. Many other anchors, hosts are also not paid. If the gossip in the market is true Shatrughna Sinha, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Govinda, Ravi Kishan, Nirahua, Udit Narayan, Sonakshi Sinha and some others have not been given the awards won by them.

It is also in the gossip mill that many producers are also planning to move court against the channel for recovery of their dues. The postponed final of Sur Sangram season 2 is still pending. Mahuaa is also said to be on the target of enforcement directorate. The most deplorable fact is that a media channel is shy of clearing the haze over reality.

Hope some one from the Mahuaa TV will speak on these matters and make everything transparent.

Now Manoj Tiwari will anchor ‘Nach Nachaiya…’

The mega star of Bhojpuri cinema Manoj Tiwari, who had earlier anchored the most popular Bhojpuri TV shows like “Sur Sangram” and “Nahle Pe Dahla” has now been entrusted again to anchor the dance reality show “Nach Nachaiya Dhoom Machaiya”. It was the beautiful anchoring of Manoj Tiwari which made the earler shows popular and it is assumed that this show too shall gain more popularity than before.

The contestants of the show include no.1 actress Rinku Ghosh, dancing queen Seema Singh, and Gunjan Pant among others.

The show is telecast every Saturdays and Sundays on Mahuaa TV from 8 PM onwards.

Malla Yuddha by Ravi Kishan

Everyone seems to be waiting for Ravi Kishan starrer movie Malla Yuddha. The film has astonishing action scenes by the evergreen super star of Bhojpuri cinema, Ravi Kishan, where he plays the traditional kushti, wrestling, of the villages. Produced by Sunil Chauhan under the banner of JMV Production the film is directed by Chand Mehta and stars Rani Chatterjee with Ravi Kishan. Shubham Tiwari and Komal Dhillon are in special roles in the film. Lyricists are A.Kumar, Soni Yadav, and Johny, music is by Raj Sen and Pandit Jwala Prasad, cameraman Ashok Chakravarty, action by Maste Riyaz Sultan and Associate Producer is Poonam Chauhan.

Other stars of the film are Kunal Singh, Sunita Sharma, Girish Sharma, Soni Yadav, Brijesh Tripathi, Kaushal KumarSharma, Ramesh Goyal, Sandhya, Abhay Yadav, Jay Prakash, Suman, Shankar Singh, and Kiran. Item dancers Seema Singh, Promila, and Nisha Singh have given titillating performances in the film.

‘Kehu Hamse Jeet Na Payee’ releasing on 27th Oct

The first Bhojpuri film made on the backdrop of secret services in the country, ‘Kehu Hamse Jeet Na Payee’ is going to be released on 27th Oct with about 50 prints in Uttar Pradesh. There are a dozen stars in this patriotic film, again a first in any Bhojpuri film.

Produced by Dr. Wijahat Karim and Dr. Surohita Karim this film is directed by M.I.Raj. There are traditional songs as well as modern songs in the film. The film was shot at pictursque locations of Gorakhpur. Evergreen Super Star of Bhojpuri cinema Ravi Kishan is in the role of an army officer ready to sacrifice his life for his country. Rinku Ghosh is in her hottest awatar in this film and will be appreciated by one and all. Sushil Singh is in the role of a forest officer who takes revenge with the merchants of death. The team of Manoj Tiger, Rajiv Dinkar and Mohit Ghai will make every one to laugh with abandon whereas Shahbaz Khan and Aiyaz Khan will add suspense to the film with their negative villanous role.

The story of the film is by S.K.Chauhan, dialogues by R.C.Thakur, lyrics by Nafis Alam, S.K.Chauhan, Fanindra Rao, Santos Puri, Shyam Dehati and Rustam Ghayal, music is by Satish Ajay, RamPravesh and Amaresh Jha. Cameraman is Akash Deep and action master is Ram Shetty. Sunil Singh is the executive producer.

6th Bhojpuri Film Award on 14th Oct

The prestigious Bhojpuri Film Awards will have its sixth show on 14th Oct 2011 at Goregaon Sports Club this year. The Jury and selected films for the prize category were announced recently at a press conference by Vinod Gupta, the founder chairman of the Awards committee.

Some changes have been made in the award procedure from this year. For example the jury members were announced publicly. These six members are K.P.nigam, Asim Sinha, Raj Singh Chaudhary, Amitabh Verma, Mishra ji and Ashutosh. The responsibility of conducting the awards will be done by Puneet Kela of Swaroop films.

The films selected for awards this year include two films each of Ravi Kishan and Nirahua and one film by Pawan Singh. For Best Actress Awards the nominees are two films each of Rinku Ghosh and Pakhi Hegde and one film of Sweety Chabra.

The films nominated for Best Film Award are Chandu Ki Chameli and Devra Bada Satavela of Ravi Kishan, Ranbhoomi and Saat Saheliyan of Nirahua and Dil of Pravesh Lal Yadav.

“FAUJI” is releasing on 14th Oct., 2011 in Mumbai

Shweta Yadav to tie “Dil Ke Bandhan”

After acting in “Odhaniya Kamal Kare” by Arvind Chaube, “Kabo Awe Na Judai” by Vivek Rao, “Tu Hi Mor Balma” by Aslam Sheikh, Shweta Yadav will be seen in “Devdas” of Kirankant. Ravi Kishan and Akshra Singh are the lead stars of the film and Shweta is in an important role.
