Honor 9 Lite to go on sale in India today, exclusively on Flipkart

Huawei’s Honor 9 Lite is set to go on sale in India today at 12 noon, exclusively on Flipkart. The smartphone – which comes with four cameras and runs on Android Oreo software will be available for buying from the e-commerce store at a starting price of Rs 10,999. The smartphone was launched in India mid this month and come in two variants — 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM – both the models will be available for sale today.

Honor 9 Lite has received an overwhelming response from the customers. This is for the fourth time that the smartphone will go on sale in the country. At the first sale, as claimed by the company itself — Honor 9 Lite went out of stock in 6 min, while at the 2nd and 3rd sale the smartphone was sold out in 3min and 2 min respectively. The scenario could be the same in today’s sale as well, as the smartphone – as mentioned by Flipkart on the dedicated Honor 9 Lite page – has only limited stock.

Honor 9 Lite was launched in India in two variants — one with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while the second model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. The 3GB RAM is available at a price tag of Rs 10,999, while the 4GB RAM will cost around Rs 14,999. Flipkart is offering a Buyback value of up to Rs 7,000. The smartphone will be available in two colours on Flipkart – Midnight black or the 32GB storage and Sapphire blue for 64GB storage.

The smartphone comes with an 18:9 edge-to-edge display and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Honor’s custom EMUI 8.0 skin on top. The device is powered by octa-core Kirin 659 processor and backed by 3,000mAh battery which delivers a standby time of up to 24 days and a talk time of up to 20 hours.

The biggest highlights of the Honor 9 Lite is 5.65-inch FullHD+ display up front which flows from one edge to the other. On the imaging front, the smartphone comes with a 13+2-megapixel dual camera setup on the front as well as the back with support for 1080p video capture and bokeh shots.
