Bihar minor gang raped in Rajasthan fights for survival

While there has been a furore over the gang-rape and murder of a Bihari girl in Kolkata, the plight of another 12-year-old gangrape victim from the state in Rajasthan has been forgotten.

Over a year after the gruesome incident, the girl is still admitted in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi and is undergoing multiple surgeries for grievous injuries.

Chief minister Nitish Kumar had spoken to the then Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot when the incident occurred. Bihar government had also announced that it would take responsibility of the victim.
