HC stay on contempt of court notice against Tejaswi
1 min readRanchi: Jharkhand High Court on Friday put a stay on the notice of contempt of court issued against former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav and others by a special CBI court here.
The court of Justice Apresh Kumar Singh, while hearing the case, put a stay on the notice of contempt of court issued against Mr Yadav and senior RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari and former union minister and another senior leader Raghuvans Prasad Singh.
The court later fixed March 9 as the next date of hearing in the case.
The court of special CBI judge Shivpal Singh had issued contempt notices against the three RJD leaders and Manish Tiwari of the Congress for making statements against the judiciary while the hearing of fodder scam case number RC 64A/96 was going on in his court.
The court also put a stay on the notice of the special CBI court issued against former Bihar DGP DP Ojha under section 319.
