Huge consignment of liquor seized in ‘dry’ Bihar

Hajipur: In continuing drive against smuggling of liquor into ‘dry’ Bihar, police seized huge consignment of foreign liquor from Nijma village under Mahua police police station area in Vaishali district late last night.
Police said here today that 170 cartons of liquor were seized from an agriculture field at the village following a specific intelligence input.
Sources said that the liquor was manufactured in Harayana.
A massive manhunt is on to nab the peddlers, police added.
