1 min readPATNA: The monsoon session of the bicameral Bihar legislature will commence from July 20.
The state cabinet on Wednesday approved a parliamentary affairs department’s proposal to convene tenth session of the 16th assembly and 189th session of Bihar legislative council during monsoon session, a cabinet secretariat department official said.
The state government would now send the provisional schedule of the Monsoon session to Governor Satya Pal Malik for his approval.
As per the provisional schedule, the brief session would have five sitting between July 20 to 26. The state government will table its first supplementary budget for FY 2018-19 on July 25. There would be discussion on non-government resolutions on July 26, sources in the state government said.
