Patna: Madhepura MP Pappu Yadav on Sunday blamed Bihar School Exmiantion Board chairman Anand Kishor for discrepancies in the Intermediate exam results.

“We demand the sacking of Anand Kishor as BSEB chairman and immediate redress of the grievances in a manner suitable for students,” the Jan Adhikar Party Loktantrik (JAPL) chief said. “Every year the discrepancies in the Bihar board Class XII results are destroying the careers of thousands of students.”

Pappu’s party organised a state-wide rail chakka jaam (disruption of railway services) on Sunday, accusing the state government of failing to safeguard the interests of students and failing to get special category status for Bihar.

Pappu’s party followers and students halted rail operations for hours at Rajendra Nagar Terminal in Patna, Patna City, Barh, Fatuha as well as in Ara, Begusarai, Muzaffarpur, Katihar, Samastipur, Saharsa, Darbhanga, Purnea, and Hajipur.

Pappu accused the state government of ignoring the rising incidents of communal violence and atrocities on women, and said law and order was nosediving in Bihar.

His party threatened a Bihar bandh on June 25 over the problems plaguing Bihar.
