Katihar`s medical college courts controversy after India`s map wrongly printed on prospectus

Katihar: A Katihar based medical college in north Bihar has courted controversy after the country`s map was wrongly printed on its prospectus for 2018-19.

The latest controversy comes close on the heels of yet another furore created after printing of photo of a Pakistani girl in materials released to improve public awareness for cleanliness drive in Jamui district.

Sub divisional police officer (Sadar) of Katihar Anil Kumar said that Kashmir portion of the country`s map had been wrongly printed in prospectus of Katihar Medical College.
He said that the college management, when quizzed claimed that it had already written a letter to the printing press when it was found that the prospectus had wrongly depicted the country`s map on its cover page.

Mr Kumar said that it was being verified whether the college management had really written a letter to the printing press in this regard.
