Businessman shying away from Bihar because of policy paralysis, law and order: BJP’s Giriraj Singh
2 min readPatna: BJP leader Giriraj Singh said on Tuesday that businessmen were shying away from Bihar because of policy paralysis and law and order situation.
He also said that those business who wanted to invest in Bihar during the NDA rule were in ‘shock after seeing the new found love’ between JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Singh posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter –

Once a BJP ally, the JD(U) on July 20 announced that it would go for seat sharing with RJD in by-elections to 10 Assembly constituencies in Bihar next month.
As per the party the decision to join hands with one time bitter enemy of JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, was taken to check BJP in the state.
However, the JD(U) said that it was not an alliance and talks on a full-fledged tie-up would be held later.
The decision was announced after a marathon four-hour meeting presided by former CM Nitish Kumar at its state headquarters here. It was attended by current CM Jitan Ram Manjhi, state JD(U) president Vashistha Narayan Singh, several ministers and MLAs.
“We have decided to go with RJD in the Assembly by-polls on 10 seats on August 21. We will make all possible efforts to check and remove BJP. If needed we are ready to go with anybody for this,” said Manjhi after emerging from the meeting, PTI reported.
BJP and JD(U) had successfully fought the Assembly elections in Bihar together in 2005 with Nitish Kumar becoming the CM defeating the RJD. They again fought together in 2010 and stormed back to power.
However, Nitish broke alliance with BJP last year over nomination of Narendra Modi as the prime ministerial candidate for 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
The JD(U) got a drubbing in the General Elections winning only two seats out of 40 Parliamentary seats. Nitish resigned as CM following the debacle
On the other hand, BJP with allies won 32 seats in the state.
