Dreaded Maoist arrested in Aurangabad

Aurangabad: A joint team of central para military forces and district police arrested sub zonal commander of outlawed CPI (Maoist) from Paharpura village under Goh police station area in the district today.

Additional police superintendent (operation) Rajesh Kumar Singh said here that the top ranking Maoist Bindeshwari Paswan alias Dubey was involved in carrying out attack on the camp office of a private company in 2013 and he was a named accused in the case.

He said, the extremist was earlier arrested for his involvement in a naxal activity but was released on bail later.

Mr Singh said, several other cases were pending against the outlaw at various police stations.

An intensive interrogation of the extremist was on to get vital clues from him.
