A junior engineer of rural works department was today caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 5000 in Bihar’s Madhubani district, state Vigilance department sources said.
Acting on a tip-off, a vigilance team led by Superintendent of Police Mohammed Zamiruddin caught Girish Kumar while accepting Rs 5000 bribe from a contractor, Director General of Police Vigilance P K Thakur said in a statement.
