Darbhanga: Another incident of mass cheating has come to light in Bihar. 370 students who appeared for the exam at the Lalit Narayan University in Darbhanga were caught on camera blatantly cheating. The students were seen sitting with books and chits.
“As soon as the exam started at 2 pm, I made sure the chits were removed. It’s not that we are silent about the issue, we are going in again. Will check and get the chits removed,” Supervisor Dr. Dilip Kumar Manadal said when he inspected the exam centre.
The Principal of the university also assured that justice will be done. “I promise you that justice will be done through the examination board. If the exam gets canceled the new dates will be put out and if the same centre is selected, the whole team which handled, the process will be changed. Action will be taken against old team,” Principal Dr Saket Kushwaha said.
This is not the first case of mass cheating that has been reported in Bihar. Earlier in 2015, over 1,000 students were caught cheating during Class X exams in Hajipur in the state.
