Bihar govt committed to achieve the goal of sustained development set by UN

Patna: Road Construction Minister Nand Kishore Yadav today said the state government was committed to achieve the goal of sustained development set by United Nations.

Mr Yadav, while replying to debate on ‘sustained development’ in the House, said that state government was committed to achieve the goal of sustained development set by UN.

Niti Aayog had informed that 0.7 per cent of the total budget of the developing countries was to be spent on agenda set to achieve the goal of sustained development, he added.

The Minister said that a committee of Principal Secretary/ Secretary would be constituted to prepare estimate of the fund required to be spent for removing the inter district disparity.
