Major haul of liquor in dry Bihar, 30 arrested
1 min readPatna: Stepping up their efforts to frustrate attempts of liquor peddlers, police have seized huge consignments of foreign liquor in Patna and Begusarai districts.
Patna senior police superintendent Manu Maharaj said that more than 62 cartons of foreign liquor were seized from a pick up van near petrol pump under Bypass police station area in the district last night.
He said that four peddlers were arrested from the spot.
Mr Maharaj said during the interrogation the peddlers revealed that they were carrying liquor bottles from a godown at Mehuli under Deedarganj police station area.
He said when raid was conducted at the godown, 108 cartons of foreign liquor were seized.
