Motihari: Pipra police late on Sunday arrested a 60-year-old man for allegedly raping a 4-year-old girl at a village in East Champaran.

Bishwanath Sah was arrested from Chakbara village of Pipra block, about 160km north of Patna. An FIR registered at the police station said the girl was sexually assaulted by the 60-year-old man when she had gone to his shop to buy biscuits. “Luring her with biscuits and other confectioneries, the man took her inside the shop and raped her,” said Santosh Kumar, officer-in-charge of Pipra police station.
