Abducted child found dead, tension erupts in Gaya
1 min readFamily and locals staged a protest in Gaya as one of the three children abducted was found dead on Wednesday in Gewal Bigha Akhara in Bihar. They were kidnapped by a man on 6th February.
Angered over what they termed as “police inaction”, the locals hit the streets, blocking traffic in Gevalbigha for a few hours before the situation was brought under control.
“The accused has been arrested, the family of deceased provided with Rs 20000. They’ll also be given Rs 2 Lakh from compensation fund”, said District Magistrate Abhishek Singh.

The three children were residents of Gevalbigha in Rampur police station area of the town and their family members had lodged a complaint at the police station on Tuesday after they went missing.
The body of Tannu (8) was found near the official residence of Vice Chancellor of Magadh University while Ankit and Suraj were found, with injuries on their bodies, near the Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College.
