Bihar polls: Manjhi accuses Ram Vilas Paswan of promoting family in party1 min read
New Delhi: Former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi has accused Union Minister and LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan of indulging in dynastic politics.
Speaking at a press conference in Jehanabad, Manjhi said “Mr Paswan is promoting his son Chirag within the LJP ranks at the cost of everyone else.”
Manjhi reiterated that he is the true leaders of all Mahadalits and the Paswan community.
The former CM’s remark came in the wake of Paswan’s comment that Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) is on a trial in NDA.
Manjhi’s HAM, LJP, and Union minister Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Samata Party are alliance partners in the BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
The NDA allies in Bihar are reportedly locked in a tussle over seat sharing for the upcoming assembly elections, with all constituents demanding more seats.
