Body of PACS chairman recovered in Bihar

Biharsharif: Police today recovered the body of a kidnapped Primary Agriculture Credit Society (PACS) chairman from Rampur Khandha village under Bind police station area in Nalanda district.

Police said here that the body of PACS chairman of Malma Panchayat Pankaj Kumar was recovered on the receipt of information from local people.

Sources said the criminals had kidnapped Mr Kumar when he was on way to his residence on February 11 and killed him later by slitting open his throat.

Police said that motive behind the murder was not immediately known.

The body has been sent for autopsy, sources added.
