Patna: Unidentified criminals shot dead a farmer near Brahamasthani village under Janipur police station area in the district last night.
Police said here today that three motorcycle borne criminals gunned down the farmer Vishal alias Shibu, a native of Bhelura Rampur village when he was going to irrigate his agriculture field.
The motive behind murder was not immediately known.
The body has been sent for autopsy, sources added.
