Gun factory busted in Munger; three arrested

The police today busted an illegal gun manufacturing unit in Kasim Bazar Police Station area of Munger district in Bihar. 

Three persons, including two weapon manufacturers and an arms smuggler have been arrested by the police in this connection. Two automatic pistols and various machines used in manufacturing guns were also seized. 

Munger Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjay Kumar Singh said the illegal gun factory was operating at the house of one Raju Sharma and the raid was conducted on a tip-off. 

“Raju and his associate Nawal Kishore Das were arrested from the spot. One Pancham Singh of Jaidpur village in neighbouring Lakhisarai district, who had come to buy pistols from them, was also arrested,” said the SP.
