Huge quantity of foreign liquor seized in Bihar
1 min readPatna: Police seized huge quantity of foreign liquor from Begusarai and Vaishali districts in dry Bihar today.
According to a report from Begusarai, 79 cartons of foreign liquor was seized from a pick-up van during checking of vehicles at Majhaul village under Veerpur police station area.
The pick-up van carrying liquor was parked roadside when police searched it and no one was either found in vehicle or its nearby, police stated.
In another operation, 1,176 bottles of foreign liquor was seized from an abandoned car near Narhar village under Jandaha police station area in Vaishali district.
Acting on a tip off, raid was also conducted at a hide-out in Hulaur village under Jandaha police station area, leading to seizure of 40 bottles of foreign liquor from there, police informed adding that no one was arrested during the operation.
