Lalu praises Nitish, criticises BJP for spreading rumours
1 min readRJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday heaped praise on former Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar.
Lalu’s comments came over the brawl between BJP and JD (U) leaders which took place in the assembly on Thursday.
Lalu said Nitish Kumar is a very gentle person and criticised BJP leader Mangal Pandey for being indecent in the assembly. He also slammed BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi saying that he always spread rumours.
The RJD supremo said that BJP is tensed with the development in the state by the JD(U) government.
“Sushil Modi always spreads rumours,” Lalu said.
Earlier in the day, BJP and JD (U) MLAs exchanged blows in Bihar legislative council when BJP leader in the opposition Sushil Kumar Modi was interrupted by JD(U) leader Sanjay Singh.
According to reports, the BJP MLA and state president Mangal Pandey and JD (U) MLC, Sanjay Singh reached into the well of the house and got involved in physical blows and abused each other.
BJP leader Sushil Modi alleged that Sanjay Singh was creating hindrance when he was speaking on the issue.
He said former Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar was present in the assembly who had kept silence.
