Three people killed in an accident in Muzaffarpur

Three people were killed in a head-on collision between their car and a truck near Sadatpur village under Kanti police station area in this district late last night.

Police said three people died on the spot when the speeding truck coming from opposite direction hit their vehicle. The deceased were identified as Vinod Pandey, Rajan Mishra and Sheopujan Thakur. Sources said that Mr Pandey was the manager of a cooperative bank.

According to police, all three people were going to Pusi village from Muzaffarpur when the mishap took place. The bodies have been sent for autopsy, sources added.
