Dimapur: Host Bihar beat Nagaland by 7 wickets on Monday in the ongoing Under-23 one day men’s tournament for North East and Bihar zone of the BCCI being played at Patna.
Nagaland winning the toss decided to bat and posted a lowly 140 runs with all 10 wickets back in the pavilion after 40.5 overs.
Bihar were largely untroubled in the run chase and they went past the target with ease scoring 142/3 in 30.1 overs.
Next up for Nagaland is Arunachal on February 1. The top two teams of this zone will qualify for the all India knock out tournament.
