Thanks, with a smile

Team Smile, a students’ initiative to reach out to underprivileged children at Central University of South Bihar’s Gaya campus, held a certificate-distribution ceremony on May 18 to acknowledge contributions of its active members.

Public relations officer Mohammad Mudassir Alam said the event was held under the supervision of Pranav Kumar, faculty supervisor, Team Smile, and assistant professor of political studies.

He said the objective was to acknowledge and appreciate students who were regular in visiting government schools and always put a step forward in organising events. Starting off the programme was Badri Sankar Das, newly elected president of Team Smile. He was followed by Aman Sagar, who gave a short introduction about the evolution of Team Smile and what it does. Then, certificates were distributed to the students.
