Bike hits pole, kills 1

One person was killed and another injured when their motorcycle collided with an electric pole near Sundarpur village under Sandesh police station on Wednesday evening.

The police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. Sandesh police station house officer (SHO) said Ajay Yadav, son of Lalan Yadav of Jokta village under Chandi police station, had gone to his in-laws’ house at Surungapur village under Sandesh police station.

On Wednesday evening he and his brother-in-law Vijyendra Yadav were going to the market on the motorcycle. When they were approaching Sundarpur village, the motorcycle collided with an electric pole killing Ajay Yadav on the spot.
