PATNA: Anugrah Narayan College (A N College) will host the seventh Bihar Science Conference-2018 (BSC-2018), an international meet on science and technology from December 4 to 6.
At least 1,000 scientists, research fellows and eminent personalities from across the world are likely to take part in the event which will be jointly organized by A N College in association with Bihar Brains (B Brains) Development Society. The theme of the conference is ‘Science and Technology Education, Research and Innovation for Sustainable Development’.
The organizers have invited Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad as the chief guest of the inaugural function.
According to A N College principal S P Shahi and B Brains chairman Bibhuti Bikramaditya, five young scientist awards and an oral presentation award in each category will be given to the delegates. The registration fees for the event is Rs 2,000 for professors, Rs 1,500 for PhD scholars and Rs 1,000 for BSc and MSc students. Applications can be submitted online.
Guests, who are expected to attend the technical session, include Prof C N R Rao, head of the scientific advisory council to the Prime Minister.
