After mango, plucking of guava costs a life in Chapra

Chapra: A villager stabbed a person to death over the dispute of plucking of guavas at Banni village under Khaira police station area in Saran district today.

Police said here that one Riyazuddin stabbed his co-villager Naushad, with whom he had a long running dispute after some unknown person plucked guavas from his field.

Sources said, when Riyzuddin found guavas missing, he entered into heated arguments with Naushad and later he attacked him with a knife.

Police said, the body had been sent to Chapra Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Further investigation is on, sources added.
