Bihar govt comes forward for treatment of acid attack victims

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has fulfilled his promise to help the acid attack victims.
In a cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, it was decided that an acid attack victim will be granted a total of 1.5 lakh for facial plastic surgery and one lakh for surgery on other body parts from Mukhyamantri Chikitsa Sahayta Kosh.
Last week while attending a communal marriage program at Shri Krishna Memorial Hall, Nitish Kumar met some acid attack victims and assured them that the state Government will provide assistance for their treatment.
