Bihar govt transfers 45 IAS officers, DMs of several districts also shifted

PATNA: The state government at around midnight on Friday reshuffled 45 IAS officers including district magistrates (DM) of several district in the state.
Ravi Manubhai Parmar was appointed principal secretary of state tourism department. He was waiting for posting after returning from central deputation.

Mayank Warwade who was also waiting for posting after returning from inter-state deputation, was posted as chairman-cum-managing director of Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam Limited.

Commissioner of commercial taxes Pratima Satish Kumar was posted as secretary in her department. She would also hold additional charge of commissioner of commercial taxes, additional commissioner (GST) and additional mission director of Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission Society.

State transport commissioner Anupam Kumar was transferred as director, information and public relation department (IPRD). He was handling additional charge of the same post. Kumar would also hold additional charge of special secretary of chief minister secretariat.

Instead of Kumar, Bhagalpur DM Adesh Titarmare has been appointed state transport commissioner. Samastipur DM Pranav Kumar replaced Titarmare while home department additional secretary Chandrashekhar Singh replaced Kumar.

Radheshyam Shah has been appointed state health department additional secretary. He was earlier posted as director (animal husbandry) in animal and fisheries resources department. Saharsa DM Vinod Singh Gunjiyal has been posted in place of Shah.

Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh has been appointed as director (employment and training) in labour resources department. Madhepura DM Mohammad Sohail replaced Singh. Saharsa DDC cum zila parishad CEO Navdeep Shukla replaced Sohail.

Pradeep Kumar, who was earlier posted as registrar, cooperative societies in cooperative department, has been posted as joint secretary of directorate of prosecution in home department. Earlier, Ishwar Chandra Sinha was posted on position who has been made joint secretary of home department.

Khagaria DM Jai Singh has been appointed director (land records and map) revenue and land reforms department. Singh was replaced by disaster management department special secretary Anirudh Kumar.

Sheikhpura DM Dinesh Kumar has been made director (consumer protection) in food and consumer protection department. West Champaran DDC cum zila parishad CEO Yogendra Singh replaced Kumar.

Kaimur DM Rajeshwar Prasad Singh has been posted as director (directorate of economics and statistics) in planning and development department. He will also hold the additional charge of additional secretary in the department.

Munger DM Uday Kumar Singh has been posted as additional secretary in tourism department. The notification for his posting would come into effect from May 1.

Health department additional secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh has been appointed managing director of Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (BMSICL).

M Ramachandrudu, director (primary education) of education department, has been made additional secretary of state disaster management department. Buxar DM Arvind Kumar Verma replaced Ramachandrudu.

Jamui DM Kaushal Kishore has been made joint secretary of state health department. Vaishali DM Rachna Patil has been transferred to the position of registrar, cooperative societies in cooperative department. Shoehar DM Raj Kumar has been appointed as director (social security) in social welfare department. He would also hold the additional charge of director (disability) in the same department.

State health department joint secretary Karuna Kumari has been appointed as additional executive director in state health society. She would also hold the additional charge of executive director of Bihar Aids Control Society in the department. Kumari is an Assam-Meghalaya cadre 2010 batch IAS officer.

Katihar DM Mithilesh Mishra has been made IG (Prisons) in home department. Mishra was replaced was Punam, a 2005 batch Rajashthan cadre IAS officer, who was earlier posted as special secretary in planning and development department and was also handling additional charge of director in directorate of economics and statistics in planning and development department.

Lakhisarai DM Amit Kumar has been appointed as general administration department (GAD) joint secretary. Saharsa ADM cum district grievance redressal cell officer Shobhendra Kumar Choudhary replaced him while Kumar replaced Ranjeet Kumar Singh, a 2008 batch Gujarat cadre IAS officer. Singh has been appointed as Sitamarhi DM. Singh replaced Rajeev Raushan who was transferred to Vaishali as its new DM.

Bihar state minority financial corporation (minority welfare department) director Arshad Aziz has been appointed Shoehar DM.

Rohtas DM Animesh Kumar Parashar has been transferred to Gopalganj as its new DM. Parashar replaced Rahul Kumar who was appointed as Begusarai DM.

Siwan DM Mahendra Kumar was appointed as Kishanganj DM. He replaced Pankaj Dixit who was transferred to Rohtas as new its DM. Gaya deputy development commissioner (DDC) cum zila parishad chief executive officer (CEO) Raghvendra Singh has been appointed as Buxar DM.

Supaul DDC cum zila parishad CEO Nawal Kishore Choudhary has been appointed as Kaimur DM. Nalanda DDC cum zila parishad CEO Subrat Kumar Sen has been appointed as Saran DM. the notification of his appointment would be effective from May 1.

Shailaza Sharma, Muzaffarpur DDC cum zila parishad CEO has been appointed as new DM of Saharsa. Madhubani DDC cum zila parishad CEO Dharmendra Kumar has been appointed as new Jamui DM. Bhagalpur DDC cum zila parishad CEO Anand Sharma was appointed as Munger DM while Bhagalpur sadar SDO Suharsh Bhagat has been made new Patna sadar SDO.

Bihar State Schedule Castes Cooperative Development Corporation managing director Divesh Sehra has been given additonal charge of special secretary, road construction department.
