Patna: Two groups of people clashed over parking of vehicles in Raja Bazaar on Wednesday evening.

The scuffle occurred after some people objected to a man parking his vehicle on the road. Arun Kumar Yadav has lodged an FIR at Shastri Nagar police station stating that he had parked his four-wheeler at Samanpura when two youths on a cycle asked him to remove his vehicle.

Arun said: “The youths asked me to remove the vehicle and abused me. They tried to assault me but after people intervened, they fled the spot.”

Yadav claimed that later, the two youths along with 50-60 persons entered his house and assaulted him and his family members.

Shastri Nagar police station house officer Nihar Bhushan said: “Both the sides have lodged complaints against each other.”

Bhushan claimed that youths in the complaint have stated that it was Yadav who first assaulted them, while Yadav in his complaint has said that youths of Samanpura had entered his house and assaulted his family members.
