Headless body of woman recovered in Bhagalpur

Bhagalpur: Police recovered the headless body of a woman near Baisa sandbank under Sanhaula police station area in the district late last night.

Police said that the headless body of woman was recovered from the sandbank following receipt of information from local people.

Sources said that the deceased could not be identified immediately.

Police said that the body had been sent to Bhagalpur Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.

Further investigation is on, sources added.
