Huge consignment of liquor seized in ‘dry’ Bihar

Barh: In a continued drive against smuggling of foreign liquor into ‘dry’ Bihar, police seized huge consignment of liquor and arrested three peddlers in Salempur locality under Barh police station area in the district today.

Police said here that 42 bottles of foreign liquor and 305 pouches of country liquor were seized from a hideout in Salempur locality following a specific intelligence input.

Sources said that three peddlers, including a woman, were arrested from the spot.

An intensive interrogation of bootleggers is on to nab other members of their gang, police added.
