Huge consignment of liquor seized in Samastipur ‘dry’ Bihar

Samastipur: Police seized huge consignment of foreign liquor from an orchard at Kharsand village under Kalyanpur police station area in the district late last night.

Police said here today that 257 bottles of foreign liquor were seized from the orchard following specific intelligence input.

Sources said, two motorcycles were also recovered from the spot.

Police said the peddlers made good their escape from the spot by taking the advantage of darkness.

A massive manhunt is on to nab bootleggers, sources added.
