Maoists gun down former Mukhiya in Bihar
1 min readBagha: Dreaded Maoists shot dead a former Mukhiya by accusing him of being a police informer under Valmakinagar police station area in West Champaran district today.
Police said that more than 50 extremists of outlawed CPI (Maoist) gunned down former Mukhiya of Champapur Gonauli Panchayat at his residence.
After killing the former Mukhiya, extremists escaped into the forest area of Indo-Nepal border after pasting objectionable posters at the village.
Police said Mr Singh was representative of present Muhiya Ghurahi Devi.
A massive manhunt is on to nab ultras, sources added.
