Patna: Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief and union minister Upendra Kushwaha today asserted that NDA would contest 2019 Lok Sabha election across the country, including Bihar, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Talking to media at Jai Prakash Narain International Airport here, Mr Kushwaha said no leader in the country or in any state was taller than Mr Modi and the next Lok Sabha election would be fought in the name of Mr Modi only.
He said that NDA would return to power in 2019 Lok Sabha election and Mr Modi would be Prime Minister for the next five years.

Mr Kushwaha’s assertion assumes special significance in view of the fact that earlier JD (U) had demanded that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar should be the face of NDA in Bihar in 2019 Lok Sabha election.

Mr Kushwaha also ruled out the possibility of his party teaming up with RJD.
