RPF men in action

A Railway Protection Force (RPF) team recovered a stolen cellphone and Rs 2,200 from the possession of one Santosh Dom during an intensive checking drive at the Mughalsarai station recently. The accused was later forwarded to judicial custody, sources said.

In another incident, an RPF escort team on duty in the New Delhi-Rajgir Shramjeevi Express (12392) caught a criminal who was trying to snatch a gold chain from a woman passenger near the Fatuha station. He was later forwarded to judicial custody.

Besides, RPF men arrested a luggage lifter from the Patna Junction on Sunday and recovered five stolen cellphones from his possession.
